Lady Gaga On Being Linked Up With Co-Star Bradley Cooper: ‘We Wanted People To Believe That We Were In Love’
A Star Is Born starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper is a special film, for both fans and everyone related to it. Other than our hearts, the film also won the singer-turned-actress an Oscar for Best Original Song and several other nominations. Well, not to miss the sparkling link-up rumours between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper that had taken the internet by storm and, why not? Their chemistry in both reel-life and real-life was mesmerising. In a striking conversation with Oprah, the Bad Romance singer has addressed all such speculations and also opened up on some of her ordeals.

As per Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper is a beautiful father. Further, Lady Gaga admitted that Bradley wouldn’t have been able to look into her eyes during their Oscars’ performance, had their link-up rumours been true. Oprah also stated how Cooper had said that his Catholic guilt would not allow him to do that, to which Gaga said that her romance with Bradley was strictly limited to A Star Is Born. And that the two wanted people to believe that they were in love.  (ALSO READ - Bappi Lahiri Is All Set To Make Some Music With American Singers Lady Gaga And Akon)

She was quoted as saying, “Quite frankly, I think the press is very silly. I mean, we made a love story. For me, as a performer and as an actress, of course, we wanted people to believe that we were in love. And we wanted people to feel that love at the Oscars. We wanted it to go right through the lens of that camera and to every television that it was being watched on. And we worked hard on it, we worked for days. We mapped the whole thing out—it was orchestrated as a performance.”

Further, the pop star also opened up on her PTSD and chronic pain, which happened after she was repeatedly raped at the age of 19. Gaga revealed how despite the entire trauma, she kept going, survived and even won an Oscar Award.
